Financial Aid Policy


Miami Rush Kendall SC offers a limited number of scholarships to its members based solely on demonstrated financial need in order to assist them in the payment of the club’s annual fees. The club will assist these members in providing them individual fundraising opportunities to help them fulfill their obligations and other expenses.

Financial aid applications for each season are received between July 5th and August 11th.  Deadline is August 11th. We cannot guarantee that applications submitted after this date will be considered for a financial aid award. Financial aid applications must be complete and accompanied by ALL documentation specified on form.  YOU MUST BE REGISTERED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR ANY FINANCIAL AID.  ONCE YOU REGISTER, AN ATTACHMENT WILL BE INCLUDED AS A PDF AT THE BOTTOM OF YOUR REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION EMAIL, JUST ABOVE THE Q/A SECTION.  FINANCIAL AID FORMS ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR PLAYERS NOT REGISTERED WITH THE INITIAL PAYMENT.

To be evaluated for financial aid, a prospective member must register with the club and provide the required deposit. If within 5 days of being notified of the financial aid award (usually late August), the prospective member requests a club official to withdraw his/her membership, the player will be granted a release and the deposit will be refunded minus the cost of the uniform plus $25.00 to cover club costs.

In the case of prior recipients of financial aid, approximately 50% of the applicable registration deposit will be required at the time of registration. The second half will be required by August 1st.  ALL Financial aid applications are reviewed and awarded at the end of the August.  Adjustments to monthly payments would be effective September 1st.  This means all invoices prior to September need to be paid prior to any financial adjustments.

After you complete the application, and obtain copies of all required documents, contact Rebeca Rafols after June 30th to schedule an appointment to review and submit the application package. All documentation must be brought in an envelope. Financial Aid submittals can be submitted to a club VP or Rebeca Rafols (305-338-5427) after July 5th and before August 11th by appointment.  Applications with incomplete documentation may not be reviewed or considered, so it highly recommended to schedule an appointment to review completeness.  Applications received after August 11th may not be considered for aid.
